I recently updated the bios on my EVGA 790i Ultra SLI board to the latest version. After restarting the computer, I cannot get windows to start "Bootmgr image is corrupt" or "The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum."
I put in a the windows 7 64 bit disk to try and boot from it, and i get to the setup menu. I try to choose Launch Startup Repair (recommended) but the system keeps going back to the WIndows Error Recovery, and will not get into any setup mode. I try to launch normally but it keeps restarting itself.
I have 2 striped raids, one has the windows drive, and one with other various files.
I have an option in my raid setup to clear mbr, but i dont want to lose my data, is that going to mess up everything even more?
