Hello all recently my girlfriend attempted to install windows 7 64 bit home premium on my asus k55a laptop forgetting to plug the charger in and causing some kind of issue to give me the error "bootmgr is missing" press ctrl alt delete to restart. I attempted to press F8 to boot from disk which does nothing and gives me the error again. Attempted to F12 change boot orders/priority's reboot still the same issue. The disk i used i literally 10 minuites before just installed windows 7 off this disk onto my gaming system so i assume its not the disk. If anyone could assist me and guide me how to fix this issue i would really and truely highly appreciate it . Thanks so much in advance regards vibe

The install obviously did not complete and has nothing to boot into, generating that error.

Continue with the steps to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 deleting all partitions during the booted install, creating and formatting new or clicking Next to let the installer do it for you and begin install.

Make sure to follow the steps for how drivers are handled in Win7 as it is not the same as XP.

If you stick with the tools and methods provided then you will get and keep a perfect install for as long as you do, just like a milliion others have without a single complaint.
