Sir,
i've hp pavillion dv6 with win7 (hp). 20days back, when i turn on my lappy (aftr a normal shutdown) i found that many programs like audio, brightness, bluetooth, wifi, aero pack etc were not working. Infact they were disabled. I checked my startup settings, but there they were enabled but didnt start on startup. I tried to enable & start them bt it didnt worked. My screen n everything looks like safe mode. But it was'nt a safe mode(100% sure). My desktop wallpaper was der so it wasnt a safe mode.
I shut down & restarted my lappy, first it show me error 0xc00000e9 n then when i press enter, my win start n my startup programs was still not working.
I tried to reinstall win with my Recovery disk bt it hangs half way. I tried 3-4times but it always stuck on the same point.
And after that when i tried to start win i get a message ''boot manager missing''
(i was able to access my harddrivd befor reinstalling win & recovery disk runs properly, so i can say that my hdd isnt corupted & also cd drive working fine)
Its long time i'm struggling with this problem, please help me out.
Thanx in advance.

Work through these steps for http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219533-troubleshooting-windows-7-failure-boot.html if you still have the old install on there.

If the old install has been replaced with running the Factory Bloatware Recovery, then wipe the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command from the Command Line on the Win7 disk or http://www.sevenforums.com/performance-maintenance/51100-repair-cd-system-repair-disk.html.

Since you may need the Win7 disk to wipe the HD anyway, I would do the vastly superior http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 instead of reinstalling all of the factory crapware which interferes with better versions built into Win7. The tutorial provides everything needed and will assure you get and keep a perfect install as long as you stick with the tools and methods given.
