Borderless/Outlineless Taskbar

Basically, the theme I currently have for my computer is good, but it's extremely buggy (random places where the colour hasn't been changed, no text bar in the Start menu when searching, a few more things that just niggle me). I need a new theme (don't worry, this isn't a thread just asking for a theme or where to get one, etc.), but I can't find any like the one I have.

In the picture, you can see that the theme I have has an almost completely transparent taskbar, apart from a little blur. The main thing I'm bothered about is a theme that's like that, BUT it mustn't have a border. With the normal Aero theme (and all the other theme's I've found), there's a slight border that separates the taskbar from the wallpaper. I want it just so there is no border so it goes straight from wallpaper to taskbar.

Are there any programmes that will allow me to remove the border from other third party themes? Or, as a (really reeeeeally) last resort, is there any way I could create my own theme?

Welcome to the Seven Forums
There will always be a slight blur to that taskbar and no one has been able to remove it yet, and you will always see a very faint line at the top of the taskbar even with the images completely transparent.
You can make or edit a custom theme with Ave's Windows7 Style Builder it is not free and it cost about $22.75 US.
Let me know if I can help with either editing or creating a custom theme.

The only thing you could do would be to make the image fully transparent, depending if it's the default Aero theme or a custom theme each position of the taskbar will have 2 or 3 images, Look at this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/29646-theme-customize-custom-themes.html it will give you some basics on how to customize a custom theme using just a resource hacker.
Hint: most custom themes have been built with Windows Style Builder that changes the numbers on the images so each custom theme may have a different set of numbers, whereas the default Aero theme the numbers will all be the same. If you find a theme would like to try to customize let me know and I can give you the image numbers.

Well, basically, the main thing I'd like to do is make it so that This theme has a brighter start menu (I know this depends on the wallpaper, but I want to make it a little more transparent), make it so that you are able to see the search bar in the start menu, and change the main font included in the theme. Thing is, I have no idea on how to do any of these :/

I just downloaded and looked at this theme and the search box in the start menu has been removed so no matter how more transparent you make it you would still not see the search box.
