I have two LCD monitors. The main monitor is on the left.

Google Chrome often opens on the right monitor.

How can I make it always open on the left monitor?

Thank you for your help.

Hello mobile1,

Does this happen after any specific event? For example, only at startup.

Usually a window will open at the same location it was last closed at. If only one monitor (ex: main) is detected when the browser loads say at startup, then it's normal for it to open on it since it's the only monitor detected at the moment. Usually in situations like that, you would need to wait to open the browser after everything is up and fully running.

Hope this may help some for now.

It happens even after the PC has been running for awhile.

And it happens even when the right monitor is turned off.

Do you think it may be happening when your video driver is being updated?

The reset during the installation can often cause opened windows to change monitor locations.

Does this happen only with this browser, or does it also happen to other windows?
