Hello,
I cannot find a definitive answer to my question.
I previously used Firefox and Vivaldi, Vivaldi was quicker than Firefox but with no further updates I will have to remove Vivaldi.
What other browsers are still being updated ? I have done a Google search, but the articles appear to be old.

I don't want a browser based on an antivirus as I don't want to change my existing antivirus.
Thanks.

Incidentally I don't use my Windows 7 machines for shopping, banking or email so there is only very limited personal data transferred. I also use a different ISP to connect to the Internet with these machines.

Internet Explorer 11.0.290 is what I use for a few sites that work better with it.
Mozilla Firefox 110.0 is what I primarily use because many sites no longer support IE11.

my Windows 7 is showing MSFT warning, EDGE is NOT being supported on Windows 7 any more.

So, EDGE is being ruled out on Windows 7 at this time.

I couldn't tell you which browsers are being updated, as this is a non-issue for me. On my XP Pro updates didn't matter a whit, not on the OS, and not on the few browsers that still worked on it. I suspect the same will prove true on Win 7 Pro. What I can tell you is which browsers work well on Win 7, and which are so-so. I currently have Brave, Iridium, Librewolf, Waterfox, Firefox, Comodo Ice Dragon, and Comodo Dragon installed. Of these, Waterfox and the two Comodo browsers are usable, but less than impressive. The others work well....you might research those at their source to see about updates. Ungoogled Chromium and Advanced Chrome failed to install, but zip files never do work for me, and are awaiting the next housecall from my tech guy to be dealt with. If you are worried about security, look into a wired-only router with hardware firewall, and have a pro set it up. That kept my XP bulletproof for the 10,000+ hours I was all over the internet, in spite of the shrill and continuous threats of The Hysterics and Chicken Littles predicting malware doom.
