BSOD 0D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in ntoskrl.exe and ntkrnlmp.exe

Over the last month, whilst the PC is idle (mostly overnight) I have had a few system hangs/crashes. The specific crashes that have resulted in a system Dump all point to the above modules as the offending elements

I have, I believe followed the sticky detailing the process and attach the relevant files

I am running a clean installed copy of Windows 7 Home Premium Retail x64. I use Kaspersky Internet Security behind a SP516v6 ADSL2+ modem/router/firewall. I used IE9Beta and I have all the latest updates for all the software on my PC

My system is personally built and is less than 1 year old except 2 of the drives that are less than 2 years old. I have a 4xSATA -> PCI card attached to the motherboard that is not used and has been in the system since day one.

My CPU runs at less than 40C (I have an audible alarm set @ 40C) and is always on

I have a few items USB connected (keyboard/mouse, vinyl turntable, hard drives and UPS) whilst everything else is IP connected

1- Kaspersky (specifically avp.exe) remove and replace with Micrlsoft security essentials

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

Thank you for the very fast reply

It looks like the Realtek driver, RtNdPt60.sys, has the potential to be the major protagonist

I have updated the driver to Oct this years driver and will see what happens over night as I have a constant background web based file saving routine going when the system is "idle"

I have now updated/removed all of the drivers mentioned in your previous response (except the Agere Modem Driver - it is the most current driver)

I am reluctant to remove Kaspersky unless the dump points to a specific erroring module as I have used a number of Internet Security products over 10 years and I have found the only truly reliable, and limited memory usage, IS has been Kaspersky.

I do notice that many of the problem solving starts with the recommendation to remove any other IS and replace it with the MS version - is this marketing or have you found a clear indication that Kaspersky is the problem in my dump file?:huh:

I was initially very hopeful that the Realtek driver was the culprit as the PC stayed active overnight but yesterday crashed, unusually, while I was in the middle of working

I have followed the same dump collection procedure as before and attach the zipped files

I look forward to understanding what the actual offending module is so I can then follow that through and find a solution

I have found a reference to an utility called Driver Sweeper and I used it to completely uninstall the ATI driver for my AMD/ATI HD5750 grphics card, I then completely reinstalled the parallel processing version of the ATI driver and it appears to have made no difference

Is there a product on the market that allows me to interpret the dump file in a bit more detail than Who Crashed does?

I would very much appreciate a steer in the corect direction i.e. what are the module references in the stack as knowing that I can then focus my search and maybe obtain a definitive anser that will be helpful to others
