New PC - BSOD 0x000000f4 Windows 7
Hello,
So today I got my new PC delivered and I have just installed Windows 7 Pro on it and when I try to boot it will crash right after the Windows splash screen with a blue screen of death with the following error code:
0x000000F4 (0x00000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA800CB082F0, 0xFFFFFA800CB085D0, 0xFFFFF800029D3940)
I have tried starting Windows in safe mode but it gives the exact same bsod at the exact same time.
Something else to note, by default a windows 7 home edition was installed and I got a windows 7 pro from MSDN so I installed that one, so it booted fine before. For what it matters these are my specs:
Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-4690K (3.5GHz) 6MB Cache
Case CORSAIR CARBIDE SERIES™ AIR 540 GAMING CASE
Motherboard Gigabyte Z97P-D3: ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
Memory (RAM) 16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X FURY DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960 - DVI, HDMI, 3 DP - 3D Vision Ready
2nd Graphics Card NONE
3rd Graphics Card NONE
1st Hard Disk 120GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (upto 540MB/sR | 520MB/sW)
2nd Hard Disk 500GB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 16MB CACHE
I don't know how I can get any dump files since I can't seem to be able to get into windows itself.. I also reseted the bios back to it's factory settings but that didn't change anything either (not that I changed anything in the bios, but I'm just desperate right now)
I tested both single pieces of RAM, so it isn't my ram that is the problem
