BSOD 0x00000116

Hello, so my game "blood line champions" crashed after it showed a nice array of purple horizontal lines in the window. This was followed by a BSOD which read.
0x00000116 (0xFFFFFA80067984E0), 0FFFFF88004B20CB0.....

I have a
win6 home premium x64
xfx 8800 gts 512
Q6600 2.4ghz
6gigs (2x2)(2x1)gb of ocz sli ram
Ultra x3 600watt PSU
500gb hitachi hd

I tried redownloading the latest drivers, but to no avail. After a reformat the screen turns black and goes back to the normal. I switched out the power cables, reapplied thermal paste to my GPU in case it was a heating issue. then this pops up on the windows tray after i pop my video card back in.

"Display Driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version 270.61 stopped responding and has successfully recovered. This can happen multiple times before a crash. "

I can post and log into windows fine(Most of the time). It's been around 30 minutes since the last crash.

Just tried turning aero on, and crashed with the same bsod.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.



To ensure minidumps are enabled:
** Until a .dmp file is generated, the Minidump folder may not exist.**

*Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl Press Enter.
*Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
*Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
*Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kb) in the drop down box (the 256kb varies).
*Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
*OK.
Reboot if changes have been made.
