My PC was running ok. I did some Windows and driver updates and uninstalled the bluetooth drivers because I think they were causing small issues. I rebooted and the system never came back. The first BSOD I got was that msahci.sys was missing so I restored that from the SP1 image I have.
Now each time I try to boot I get the stop error 0x006B.
STOP: 0x0000006B
PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

I have been unable to boot to the OS now for a couple days. I have tried everything I can think of and need some help.

First off all I do not have the file Bootcat.cache in the %SystemRoot%\system32\codeintegrity\ directory.
System Recovery Options from the SP1 image finds the installation just fine.

I can't run sfc /scannow because "there is a system repair pending which requires a reboot to complete" each time.
I have run the Windows Memory Diagnostic with no issues.
I have no Restore Points or Images to restore to.
I have run bootrec with all options and no problems.
Everything looks fine to me in DiskPart.
I have booted to the image and run Startup Repair, but that fails each time with:
Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
Problem Signature 01: 6.1.7600.16825
Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16825
Problem Signature 03: unknown
Problem Signature 04: 21200045
Problem Signature 05: ExternalMedia
Problem Signature 06: 20
Problem Signature 07: NoRootCause
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

I have tried restoring the following files from my SP1 image.
acpi.sys
atapi.sys
ataport.sys
battc.sys
compbatt.sys
intelide.sys
msahci.sys
pciidex.sys
wmiacpi.sys
crcdisk.sys

I have tried changing my system BIOS from AHCI to IDE, but no luck. I have tried multiple other thing in the system BIOS as well, but nothing changes.

Help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

You did a lot useless things! Why change to IDE form AHCI. bootrec commands weren't necessary as well. diskpart.... not needed in this case.

What driver updates did you do?
Can you boot succesfully in "safe mode"? If not ... what error?

Thanks for the help. The useless things, as you call them, are all in an attempt to get something working. Since you know these weren't necessary do you have a solution for my issue?

I went from AHCI to IDE, not the other way. I did this to use a simpler driver, and to see if the MS driver for AHCI was corrupt.

The updates I did were bluetooth, NIC, sound, and one other, but I don't recall.

I can't boot to safe mode. The system boots, BSOD 6B, crash dump and reboots to do it allover again.

I was working from that thread already. Ran chkdsk and unmounted the volume. It could not make changes to the drive. When I rebooted, Startup Repair found errors, tried to fix them, but could not write the changes. I'm trying to run it after restarting without unmounting, but I'm still getting the BSOD before it runs. SFC cannot run because as I said above, there is a system repair pending which requires a reboot to complete.

If I can get this to run I think it would solve the issue, but I'm not having any luck yet.

I wouldn't unmount, however I've been working on this quite a bit tonight and that seems to be the only thing I've been able to get the system to do. Otherwise chkdsk doesn't work. I've not been able to run sfc at all yet.

I've disconnected all unnecessary hardware and drives, so all I have is Vol 0 and 1, which are my hard drive and the usb I'm booting from.

Well I gave up. Decided to reload Windows from scratch. Not big big deal, I'll only have to reinstall programs. Thanks for trying.
