Solved BSOD 9f while idling

The dreaded BSOD 9F driver power state failure has been a problem for the last few months. HP dv7 laptop is about 1 1/2 yrs old. BSOD is random; sometimes a week can go by and at others multiple times in a day. I updated the BIOS to F.1B, the radeon graphics hd6770m driver is 8.830.6.2000 4/12/2011 with no improvement. sevenforums.zip is attached. What else do you need to know?

Broadcom blue tooth driver. Try uninstalling the device and seeing if the crashes stop.

Thanks for the quick response. A quick eduction if you don't mind; what led you to this conclusion? Is there something in the dump I can search?

Since I do not use bluetooth I went ahead and disabled it. Only time will tell if it works.

I tried locating in the sevenforums file created as well as the mini dump files, event viewer and bluescreen viewer but could not see how any of that ties to the bluetooth.
What should I be looking for?

I wish I could say disabling the bluetooth worked but unfortunately it did not. I ran sfc scannow and chkdsk but did not find any errors.

What else should I be checking?

Did it blue screen? I need the dump file if it did.

I looked in the sevenforums file (zip attached) but do not see a DMP file dated 8/17.
It looks as if only older DMP's were included. What gives?

It's been a few weeks since I disabled the Broadcom bluetooth. I think that second 9F dump which occured following the disable was because I did not boot the laptop. Since then the problem has not recurred.
