Hello,

Please see the attached file for causes.

Not sure exactly where the problem lies. Built a new PC 2 weeks previously and have been getting BSOD's daily. I am guessing that the problem is with one of my drivers but unsure which one. i have done a fresh install of all my drivers and have updated any drivers that may have been out of date.

I dont expect it to be a hardware issue as everything looks be compatible.

Would it be possible to have a look and see if anyone can locate the issue so i can fix it?

Let me know if you need anything else.

Regards,

edit: verifier has been used, but unsure how to check which driver is causing the issue. when i run verifier windows boots but after i enter my password to login it BSOD's.

Hi jellypop.

It appears to be a multilayer issue. Disable Driver Verifier for the time being.

All the network crashes are driven by cFosSpeed and all the audio/video crashes are by nvidia. The driver verifier caught nvidia, too.

Uninstall cFosSpeed - The Internet Accelerator. (cFosSpeed for faster Internet connections (NDIS 6): c:\windows\system32\drivers\cfosspeed6.sys)

Install the NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL only.

  • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
    • 3D Vision Control Driver
    • 3D Vision Driver
    • Graphics Driver
    • HD Audio Driver
    • PhysX
    • nvidia Update
(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
  • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
  • Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Uninstall the following junks:

  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\A-Tuning
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\AsrAppCharger
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\RapidStart
  • Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\SmartConnect
Those steps will, at least, reduce the magnitude of the BSODs. So let us know how it is running after doing those. We have to take further necessary actions depending on the situation.

Hello Arc,

Thank you so much for the reply. I knew something was up with the driver and i believe i may have made things more complex by loading too many updates without fully uninstalling everything.

I will give all of the above a try. if there are any other issues i will post again.

Thank you in advance.

Edit: I have done the steps recommended. i will leave my computer on and use it normally and see if there are anymore BSOD, as of the moment, after 2 hours, no BSOD, so fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Still getting Blue Screens, although less often that previously.

I have added the new DMP files below.

The new BSOD's are not showing an error code except in the DMP files.

If someone is able to have another look for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Itg is still the cFosSpeed which is blocking network and causing the BSODs.

Any idea where i can find it? i have deleted a few apps which may contain cFosSpeed but obviously its still there somewhere.

Edit: ok, so i just had another look. it seemed as though uninstalling the app that add cFosSpeed as a driver did not remove the sys32 file. i have deleted the sys32 file. that shouldnt be an issue as its a non-essential file for sys32?

If you dont get any proper way to get rid of it, opt for a clean install.

Some programs (specially the one which developers have the idea that the users will not use those for long) are innormusly difficult to get rid of without starting afresh.

24 hours and no BSOD, i think the issue is resolved.

followed the steps mentioned above and removed cFosSpeed with regedit and no more issues. All is fine even under heavy load.

Thank you very much. Rep Added.
