Hi, my computer used to work fine until I installed yesterday a D-Link USB wireless adapter. After the installation of the software, I received a blue screen indicating : DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL that is refering to anodlwfx.sys.

The computer restarted and windows indicated that it has recover from an unexpected shutdown which details indicated :
Problem event name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.765.3
Local ID: 4105
BCCode: d1
OSVersion: 6_1_7601
Service pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

I've uninstalled everything.

Since then, the computer generate a BlueScreen afer 2-3 minutes of the reboot. I'm also able to use all softwares but it generate a BlueScreen a few seconds after.

If I boot the computer and let it idle, it get a BlueScreen after 2-3 minutes and it reboot automatically and go on like this indefinitely.

I'm using Windows 7. It is at the latest update. I'm attaching the SF .zip file to this thread. Thank you for your support.

If you have another one working internet connection (say ethernet) you uninstsll the recently added connection from device manager.
right click on my compiter icon and select manage.
in thr resulting window, select device manager in the left pane.
Expand network adapters.
right click on the DLink (should be there) and uninstall.
Then reboot.

If you are not sure what to uninstall, upload a screenshot with network adapter expanded.

Hi, I have 3 Network adapter listed in the Network adapters in the Device Manager:
- 802.11n Wireledd LAN Card
- Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter
- Realtek PCIe GBE Famili Controller

None refer to DLink.

About safemode: Safe mode working if not enabling network.

802.11n is your internal Wireless card ?

The " anodlwfx.sys " driver has to do with an Alpha Network device

Yes it is the internal wireless card and it is disabled. I do not wish to use it.

But I do not know that is the Microsoft Virtual WiFi miniport adapter. Can it be the issue?

With the Pppoe (ethernet) connected, uninstall them one by one and then reboot. At reboot, the generic driver will be instslled. If not, install the network controller from your motherboard driver cd.

At least, it will make the system free from the new device driver caused bsods.

Do you use IPv6 ? If not you could disable it .

To disable

follow these steps:
Click Start :orb:, and then click Control Panel.
Click Network and Sharing Center.
In the View your active networks area, click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
On the Networking tab, click to clear the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) check box, and then click OK.

Well, it is ALPHA Networks Filter Driver that is causing the crashes here.

Get the update from Realtek

When all the network components are failing with such a regularity, some other places are also to be looked. It is either an ambitious antivirus program that is causing the network blockage to protect the PC, or it is a virus playing there. I strongly recommend you that after updating the drivers, you uninstall Norton and all Symentec products using Norton Removal tool, at least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one. Also, scan the system for possible virus infection, too.

Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
You have a lot of ASUS bloatware installed there. Uninstall them as they are not very much wanted.

Let us know the results.

Hi, I've proceeded as you suggessed:
- I've done the 'get latest drive' for each and every drive and I get a message confirming that I hade the latest driver for them all... this is strange.
- After, I've uninstalled all norton products with Norton removal tool.
- I've downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials but it failed when updating the data...

After a seach on the causes of Microsoft Security Essentials update crash I've read something about windows update that might be the not functionning correctly. All investigations bring me to the latest windows updates that has been applied. Ane there it was! On the Fev. 27, 2013, a Windows update have been applied (in the same time as I was initially trying to install D-Link Dual Band USB Adapter.

The windows update that has been apprlied on Feb. 27, 2013 is KB2670838 dated from Fev. 27, 2013. It has been documented that this update make repeat Blue Screen crash. See the following link:
Feb 27 update causes Window 7 crashes - Microsoft Community

So, I've restore prior to that update and now it is functionnal.

I wish to thank you for your support. This is very appreciated.
