s Windows 7 . . . - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 32-bit - the original installed OS on the system? - an OEM or full retail version? - OEM = came pre-installed on system - Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer Full version, Ultimate
- What is the age of system (hardware)? 4 years, and brand new video card. - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Reinstalled the OS a month ago.

So about a week ago, my 8800gts crapped out and I was forced to buy a replacement. The first card I used as a replacement was a Nvidia 450gts. After installing it, every game I played would blue screen after about 15 minutes or so. I tried various solutions but nothing seemed to work so I figured that maybe it was the card.

After receiving my new card, an HD 5770, I installed it along with a fresh set of drivers AND also updated windows 7 to service pack 1, I tried gaming once again. This time, I was able to play Bioshock 2 for about 1hr with no crashes and I figured everything was running smooth. A few hrs later, I loaded up SC2 and after about 15 minutes, the BSOD appeared again.

So heres where I'm at. My PC is going on 4 years old and it was running like a champ with my old 8800gts. It crapped out and now my computer is BSOD'ing with two separate new pieces of hardware. Now I realize that my motherboard only has PCI-E 1.0 slots and these new video cards are PCI-E 2.0, but it is supposed to be backwards compatible.

What I'm thinking and hoping it's not is that I need to update my BIOS so my motherboard can handle the new hardware. My BIOS has not been updated since the computer was built.

I've attached the necessary files so hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction. I appreciate any help you can give me.

I've just finished running the GPU stress tests. I ran the program twice for 1 hr each and both times my system passed without error. I monitored my gfx card temperature during the tests and the card did not go past 65c. I will be doing the memory tests tonight while I sleep.

Has anyone been able to look at dump files I attached?
