Hi,

My dad had a BSOD this morning after resuming from sleep mode.
He said the only thing active was Microsoft Outlook when the PC entered sleep mode.
I did what you guys ask me to do before making a new thread here so I attached the log from the DM Log Collector.
I hope someone from Sevenforums could help me out with this error. I would really appreciate it.

Cheers,
Tom

The BSOD is blaming AMD High Definition Audio.
Code:
BugCheck D1, {fffff88006a741ec, 2, 8, fffff88006a741ec}

[COLOR=Red]Probably caused by : AtihdW76.sys[/COLOR] ( AtihdW76+31ec )

Followup: MachineOwner

It is not a very uncommon issue, we have seen it a few times earlier too.

I would suggest you to uninstall it from device manager. As the Realtek High Definition Audio is present there, uninstalling AMD audio should not be a problem IMHO.

Let us know the result.

Thanks for the prompt response to my problem! I really appreciate it.
I did what you told me to do and I uninstalled the AMD High Definition Audio.
My dad's monitor is hooked up via DVI so the AMD High Definition Audio isn't really needed anyway.
I hope this will keep that nasty BSOD away for good.

Cheers,
Tom
