BSOD - Any help appreciated

My first time here - thanks in advance for any help.

I built a Vista machine about 3 years ago and it has ran solid the whole time. two weeks ago I upgraded to Windows7x64. I installed a new 1TB Seagate, did a clean install on that, slaved my secondary drive to the new setup, and left my old boot hard drive in the box, but it's unhooked (starting to think I'm glad I did that). Since then the BSODs have been piling up.

I followed the forum instructions (I hope) correctly, so I figured I'd let the masters try and work some magic!

Several problems

1-ASACPI.SYS a major cause of BSOD's in the 2005 rev.

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

3-Your video driver. Re-install newest using this method.

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

BSOD's are back.

I updated the ASUS driver, and BSODs stopped for four days so I thought it was all good.

Yesterday they came back with a vengeance, so I went through the rest of the steps as follows:

Video Card: used the Phyxion driver sweeper to wipe the video driver. updated with new driver (actually had a BSOD after completely wiping the driver and was in the middle of downloading the new one. I was in the 640x480 resolution mode).

Skfiltv.sys: related to Creative sound card. I wiped the driver with Driver Sweeper and then physically took the sound card out of the case. Note that I went to on-board audio and at re-boot, Windows automatically installed drivers for that.

nvm62x64.sys: related to Nvidia networking adapter. I couldn't find a straight away driver replacement for this particular item. It looks like the current driver is newer than the one listed previously in this thread. . .Maybe was updated with the nvidia video card update??

anodlwfx.sys: this is odd because it is related to a wireless router brand that I have never heard of, let alone used. I am tempted to just delete it.
