BSOD seemingly occurs when nothing else is going on, but usually a few seconds after finishing work or closing an application (application varies). I'm uploading the zip file as recommended.

Hi kwatson703,

Welcome to the 7forums.

In case of
If you are using a program like Ccleaner please stop using it while troubleshooting.
This because programs like Ccleaner remove dump files that are needed to troubleshoot.

Or configure Ccleaner to not remove dump files:

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
The zip is empty of dump files.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 7 tutorial

@axe0,

I do have CCleaner, but have not used it in some time. I believe the absence of dump files is because when the BSOD occurs the connection to my main hard drive (Samsung SSD) is lost. The minidump folder is always empty when I check it.

@axe0,

I ran chkdsk (had to schedule it on reboot). Unfortunately, I was away from the machine when it finished and rebooted, but when it came up the second time it said the disk was clean. [EDIT] Attaching chkdsk results text file.

Looks fine.

As you say this, please make sure the SSD is properly connected.
I believe the absence of dump files is because when the BSOD occurs the connection to my main hard drive (Samsung SSD) is lost.

Well, it is, and this rig has been running fine for months. I saw in another BSOD thread that someone moved the SSD from SATA 0 to SATA 1 and that fixed their problem. What do you think?
