I'm using Lenovo Thinkpad X201i (Core i3-350, 2.26GHz) with DDR3/4GB, HDD 320/7200RPM. The hardware is about 6 months old.

Firstly I installed Win7/32-bit and found BSoD stated BAD_POOL_HEADER and Windows cannot be launched but restart itself for many times. Then I've changed to Win7/64bit (Ultimate), unfortunately, I'm still face the same problem.

I've attached the dump file and a folder
the HTML file didn't include since I can't get the file due to an error occured while attemping to generate the report.

Pls give me some advice to solve this problem.

Thank you

Hello,

Since the problem existed after a clean install, I would suspect this is a hardware problem. We might as well eliminate the possibility of software first though.

Remove Norton with this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

Replace it with MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Also update Acronis TrueImage, as the version you are using has been known to cause some BSODs.

Install these Lenovo Conextant audio drivers: Lenovo Support - Conexant Audio Software for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit), XP (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPad T410, T410i, T410s, T410si, T510, T510i, W510, W701, W701ds, X201, X201i, X201s, X201 Tablet

One dump blames them.
Code:
CHDRT64.sys Wed Jul 22 17:57:53 2009 (4A678B61)

I would also suggest some hardware tests. Start with RAM: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Also run a hard drive test, with Hitachi DFT. Download this ISO: http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/downloads/dft32_v415_b01.iso

Burn it to a CD, following the directions in this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/548-burn-disc-image-iso-img-file.html

Finally, my problem has been solved by removed the 2nd RAM out!!
I thought it was conflict with the 1st row of RAM.
After I changed the RAM to use the same manufacturer, the BOsD didn't appear again.
