BSOD BCCode d1 - Brand new Dell XPS 17

Hello

I recently purchased a Dell XPS 17 but am experiencing the dreaded BSOD far more than I would like.

I have attached the DMP files and Performance Monitor Report as requested (or so I hope!).

The laptop is only a couple of days old.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit is the original installation - it came installed on the laptop.

I'm not sure if it helps or not but I believe that utorrent has been open when the laptop has crashed (I've seen several references to this online so it may be related).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These were related to tcpip.sys and when that happens it is often because of the installed malware application. In your case McAfee. I would remove it at least to test.

McAfee is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST!

Hi zigzag, thank you for the quick response. However, uninstalling McAfee and replacing it with Windows Security Essentials was one of the first things I did!

I'm going to use that software removal program you linked to. Hopefully that will do the trick!

Um, sorry, in your most recent DMP McAfee is still completely installed and loaded. See snip
