hey guys,

ive been dealing with this bsod, typically when im gaming. its seems to me like its kind of random when i apears.

my specs:
asus p5q deluxe
intel e8400 3ghz@4ghz (its more stable at 4ghz - fewer crashes!)
2*2gb kingston + 2*2 corsair
gts470
win7 64bit

ive added the BSOD Dump & System File Collection

things ive tried:
different ram, 3 different makes, one at a time,
different ram slots,
updating drivers for gfx, soundcard, motherboard
format and reinstall win7
different voltage on ram and cpu current is cpu-1,375v and ram 2,16v
cleaning the case, fans and coolers

it crashes more often with everything set to auto in bios.
with my present setting its is only when im gaming i get bsod.

looking foreward to some new things to try :D

soeren

The majority of these were blamed on hardware but before you start investigating that route I notice you have a huge cause of crashes

1-ASACPI.SYS a major cause of BSOD's in the 2005 rev.

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
The 2005 (and before) version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUS teK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.SYS file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

thanks, the asacpi.sys is now dated 14/5-2009.

i am aware that my hardware might be the main course to my bsod, but at this point i really dont know where to look

lets see how the asacpi.sys works :)

hmm, after some crashing i upped the voltage on ram and cpu to 2,2v ram and 1,4v on cpu, witch i mean is the limit. seems like its a little more stable now, but will show after more hours of gaming. unfortunately i broke the 60 degree limit by 1 degree after the voltage increasement.
