Since about the last couple weeks I've been having hang ups on every shut down causing me to force shut down my pc with the power button. And I can't figure out what it is. The only thing I can think it might be is a Cisco Linksys Wifi router I recently installed. All drivers and everything are up to date. There is always a yellow triangle covering my network connections in the taskbar, though, that I only noticed showing up about 3-4 days after I installed the router. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the router (who knows if its the proper way).

I get the BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE 0x0000009F on restart (if I dont force restart it). Does anybody know how to fix this?

I also have a Linksys WiFi router -- and the only thing that I installed when hooking it up was the Cisco Connect software. All this does is provide an alternate way to access the router without using a Browser. I've not had any problems with the PC since installing this software.

Suggest you run MSCONFIG, disable all your startup items, and re-enable them one at a time -- to see which one (if any) is causing the problem.

I did that and it didn't do anything. Is yours the E900? Do you have a yellow triangle over your network connections in the taskbar? When you try and access network connections through explorer, does it ever freeze up and not allow you in? And when you click on the network connections icon in the taskbar, does your wifi network (the one you created) say no internet access underneath it?
