Solved BSOD DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000d1 Ntfs.sys

Hi,

I have build a new pc and I always got the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod during the installation of programs.

I checked the disk(ssd) with the error checking tool of win 7 but it found no errors.

As far as I know i installed the latest drivers for the motherboard found on the asus website.

I will try to test the ram soon with memtest but in the meantime any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Did you update to the latest firmware for the SSD? You have 32 GB of ram, are all the ram clocks/speed the same?

The Intel Rapid Storage stuff seem to be causing a problem for you, you might want to uninstall it completely and see if the BSOD problems persist or update them to the latest version if available.

Thanks for the quick reply.
The 4 ram sticks of 8 gig come from one and the same package so they have the same speed. Or did you mean custom clock speed settings in the bios? If so, in the bios i just loaded the default settings.

I uninstalled intel rapid store storage software but after a while I got a bsod however with a new bug string KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and driver ntoskrnl.exe

I uploaded the new information.

I will flash the ssd firmware tomorrow but currently I am on version 1.4.

The new dumps are not there. I'm seeing the old ones with bug check D1.

strange i can see four crash dumps in the previous zip file

102412-5538-01.dump and 102412-5896-01.dmp contain the new ones

Got it now.

Shows probable cause as memory_corruption

STOP 0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Usual causes:  Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS
BugCheck 1E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff80002d00830, 0, ffffffffffffffff}
Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiReplenishPageSlist+c0 )

Did you run memtest on the ram sticks? Do you want to start memtest now or wait for more blue screens after uninstalling Intel Rapid Storage?

I ran memtest. After a couple of seconds errors were found.
So I am going to return the ram to the seller.

I installed the new ram sticks and tested the system for a couple of weeks. The Problem is gone. Thanks for the help
