Hi,

I've had a Dell Laptop (l502x) with Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit for almost a year now.
It's a great thing, except for one thing: i get about 1 BSOD every 1-2 days.

As it happens only once every other day, i almost got used to it, but now it's starting to get on my nerves and I'm wondering what is causing it, as they are totally random.

On the Dell support website they told me to try the Windows Debugging Tool, which then showed me it had to do with wwussf64.sys. According to some dubious 'anti-virus' sites on the internet this was linked to some Ericsson software, although i don't have any.

Might be interesting to know, when they delivered the laptop in 2011, the backlit keyboard was not working, and they had to replace the keyboard and motherboard twice to get it working.

I followed the forum instructions and the pc health report and minidump report files are attached.

I have a feeling you guys know best what it could be and how i could finally get rid of it. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!

You have two different and conflicting mobile broadband software. All of these 50 crashes are from

A driver has failed to complete a power IRP within a specific time (usually 10 minutes).

1-wwussf64.sys. Related to wwanussf.sys F3607gw Mobile Broadband Module from Ericsson AB

2-Related to
Mbm3DevMt.sys F3607gw Mobile Broadband Device Management Driver from MCCI Corporation

The only way you are going to resolve this is to remove both, reboot, then install the correct one only.

Old drivers needing updating

Code:
cdrbsdrv.SYS 2/20/2006 6:15:35 AM
Afc.sys 7/12/2006 1:48:20 AM
How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
