Hi Guys,

I've had my pc custom built by iBuyPower and have had bluescreens since the first month, more than 2 years ago. I was able to get replacement CPU and RAM from them with no charge but nothing has solved the issue. BSOD have come more frequently and are almost a guarantee when installing a new game from steam or even sometimes when updating drivers, I just had one while DotA 2 was patching in steam. Running youtube occasionally causes windows to lock up and requires a restart.

I did a clean install about a month ago and am at my wits end as it feels almost worse with frequent lock-ups (no bsod) or random BSOD. I have seen many different BSOD such as:

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
APC_INDEX_MISMATCH
BAD_POOL_HEADER

Those are just the ones since the most recent windows clean install. I ran memtest on my most recent memory upgrade about a year ago without any issues, I'm not opposed to trying again but I've tried 3 different RAM setups with entirely different sticks each time.

Please help!

Hi there,

The first thing that's showing is your Realtek Gigabit ethernet controller driver. It's very old and could do with updating.

Code:
fffff800`043c0388 fffff880`03c999b0Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Rt64win7.sys, Win32 error 0n2

Code:

Check your motherboard vendor's website for an updated driver.

Secondly your GPU driver has been flagged.

Code:
fffff800`043c0e88 fffff880`12e44fd8Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys[/COLOR][/B]
 nvlddmkm+0x6fd8

Download this earlier version from here and follow NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems for the cleanest possible install.

Follow the above steps, test and report back with the results.

So I updated the ethernet controller just fine. I followed the steps to remove my nvidia driver, downlaoded the 331.65 driver and went to install, install gets somewhere between 10%-25% and I get a weird 7zip error which I have attached. Any ideas what I am doing wrong in the install?
