Solved BSOD error 9f, cant suspend pc, nvmf6264.sys

Hi guys, wanted to solve this myself, but its been two weeks already and its driving me crazy.

One day I noticed that my PC BSODed when on sleep mode. After learning how to use Windows Debbuger I understand that nvmf6264.sys is the reason why me computer crashes. This driver is related to the Ethernet controller on my mobo.

I tried several versions, including 15.37, 15.45 (came with mobo CD), 15.49 and 15.56. None of them fixed this. Now I cant even get my PC to sleep, it just keeps on, monitor off, unresponsive, until 10 minutes later it gets me a BSOD and restarts.

Changed several settings in BIOS including:
ACPI APIC Support (ENABLED) without it Windows wont start
ACPI 2.0 Support (ENABLED)
SUSPEND MODE (S3 Only)

I'm attaching what the .exe I downloaded from the site threw me, I hope it has the answer somewhere.

The prima facie cause of the BSOD is the NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

Which is too old, even older than Windows 7 RTM.

So it may fail.

nvmf6264.sys is a nforce chipset element. And nforce is out of the market. No possible chipset or BIOS update is available in Motherboard - M3N78-VM - ASUS .... so no chance of an easy fix.

But nvmf6264.sys does not cause this particular 0x9F BSOD .... it may be driven by something else. And there is Jumpstart Intermediate Driver ... either TP Link or DLink. Which is even more old.

Try to update this driver to the tplink or dlink network apapter. If there is no feasible update, remove teh device and apply any other one.

See how it goes. Let us know.

Hi! Thanks for the quick answer!

Some time ago I bought a TP-Link Wireless Adapter, as it did not work I'm not using it.
When I try to uninstall through Device Manager, and showing hidden devices, it completes the process but the device is still there.
I went to the file location, and renamed it to jswscimdx.bak. The thing is that when I reboot my system I don't have an internet connection.

I read the thread you suggested, it says not to use nforce storage drivers with ssds, so I uninstalled them via device manager. After restart it installs them automatically, though when viewing drivers there are some other files related to it.
There are some other drivers that installed with version 15.45 that are SMU (don't know what it is) and nforce System Management (nvcosmb.dll nvsmb.nvu nvusmb.exe nvsmu.sys). Should I uninstall them also?

First try at putting computer to sleep worked, it had been a while since last succesfull sleep. But this has happened before so I will test it for some time to call it a victory.

Well, I can say things are working as they should.

What did it was:

-Uninstalling nForce storage drivers and letting Windows install whatever it thought was the best.

After this PC did not enter sleep mode, turned monitor off and I was able to recover system with touch of keyboard or pushing ON button on PC case.

-I updated Ethernet drivers from Nvidia site (15.56 package, 73.3.0.0 Ethernet) and those two things together did the trick.

Also turned on in BIOS is:
-ACPI 2.0 Support
-Cool n'Quiet
-C1E Support

Also, with mobo drivers came Nvidia Awy Mode, this puts CPU in C0 state (i think) thus it is fully on, not alowing to enter C3, sleep.
