Hello, Ive been getting critical events, hanging and BSOD with no real common denominator event/software etc. Im also new here so I assume you can all see my system which I have downloaded? and I hope Ive zipped up the damp crash file and its all ok (will be a minor miracle if thats true!) please help me.

Uninstall Intel(R) Management Engine Components.

Thanks for your reply. where will I find these components? and should I uninstall and should I try to reinstall?
Also, is this software? a driver? sorry for the naive reply - very much an amateur with all this. in that light should I be doing this or a professional?

UPDATE: I uninstalled the software after doing some research as to how. JUST as it seemed to be complete I got a BSOD this time with a new error...here it is.

Intel management engine should be there in Control Panel > Programs and Features, and you can uninstall it from there.

It worked! the computer has been on all night and no BSOD! thank you so so much. I will use it all day just to see if, under usage it remains stable, but so far so good. Will hopefully mark solved at the end of the day.

well famous last words! no sooner had I posted the solved, after two days its happened again!
It might be different because I then connected a Dynadock U3.0 (although it was 24 hours ago and the BSOD just happened).

As the driver is staying there despite of all our efforts to remove it, at that point we should try for a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html.

cant I just delete the file? using unlocker or some such thing?

ED: for instance last time I deleted the whole intel engine management thing...but this time if I go and find the file (which I can do) and delete it, might that be another option before the install?
