BSOD, freezes and failure to POST when under load

Well I don't know about the CPU I suppose it cold be something wrong with it but apart from stress testing it and as you say it crashes under load that isn't an option.

Look I know this sounds over simplistic but if you can get into safe mode run these

Personally if it were my PC I'd remove both GPUs and switch to onboard, remove one stick of RAM and unplug both HDDs and see if the rig will POST. If it does, add components back into the mix one by one until you replicate the problem. If this does work save the second GPU until last.

I ran those and still get the failure to POST and freezing. I might just go replace the CPU and see if that works.

ruler501, That is excellent advice from Boozad. That is how you start troubleshooting a hardware problem. There are a lot of things that will cause a computer to not boot and not post. The issue is just figuring out which component it is. Of all the components in a computer that will cause problems, the CPU is the last one to suspect. While it does occasionally happen, it is very rare that a CPU goes bad unless it is seriously abused.

Sorry late reply ruler but I think Boozad's advise excellent as essenbe does it only takes a few minutes and at least eliminates quite a few things.

I have to say what essenbe says about the CPU also is right mate you have to be really rough on it - or real unlucky especially as it obviously been going for some time in that machine.
