If it remains a problem, then uninstall WinRAR which is mainly used by pirates, then open it as I showed in my screenshot above using Explorer to do the extraction by clicking "Extract files."
You have to boot into memtest, go into the BIOS by pressing F2 or Del keys its different for each machine.
Go into the boot menu and select the USB stick then it should load memtest.
I tried this. Then went to computer>k drive opened the folder and they look the same. Well, there were 3 or 4 options of which to change in bios ... maybe I should select them all to boot up from stick? Then I'd set them to what they were again later??

If the stick is bootable it should show up in one-time BIOS Boot Menu which is F8 on Asus. Tap that key vigorously at boot. You may need to expand a listing such as HD to see it.
Set the Win7 drive first to boot in BIOS setup if using stick.
Ok, you guys see how clueless I am with what we're doing. I don't think it's a good idea for me to start messing around in bios. Why can't these people have an installer? Jesus. Was that the only thing left to try?? There isn't another memory test that I could use?
