Solved BSOD HP pavilion dv7 3 times in a month

I just updated the audio driver, bios and ran the sfc which looked clean.

Please uninstall norton, it's known to cause BSODs. Replace with free MSE, at least to test.

Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:-

• Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
• Malwarebytes - The Free version

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Yes so far. I had trouble updating the Intel Rapid Storage updated however so that didn't get done. I will try that again if I get another BSOD.
