Hi I bought this computer in march, since then I've been getting random BSOD sometimes they happen several times in a day or I could go for about a week without one, I tried once to install something to be able to open the dump files but at the end I couldn't do it, I just had another BSOD few minutes ago and I figured it was about time to seek real professional help (I don't think BSOD's are good for the computer)

Here are my PC's specs

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (it was already installed)
X64
Intel64 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 5 GenuineIntel ~3068 Mhz
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. V8.14, 11/2/2010
Total Physical Memory: 12,279 MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
1TB Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 ATA Device

I'm not sure if you need some other specs, thanks a lot for your time and help

Thanks a lot for the answer, I'm following your recommendations at this moment, would uninstalling the avast also fix the tcpip.sys exceptions or that one could be caused by something else?

Thanks again

Rather than speculate at the moment, let's see what happens after you follow the steps above.

I think it worked, my pc hasn't crashed in two days, I guess I can trust the problem was solved, should I mark this thread as solved and if it crashes again open a new one?

Thanks again
