Ok, it looks like there is the most recent update which I have and then there are four older beta versions. Which one should I DL?

Found another possible issue, do this.
1-Command Prompt, run as admin.
2-Type chkdsk C: /F
3-You will get a message that the volume is in use, type Y to have the volume checked on the next restart, close the command prompt & restart your computer.

Ok, no problems until this morning. I got a BSOD after about 20 minutes of using my PC. I ran the diagnostic tool again and here are the results.

I did a repair install of Windows 7 on my PC. Everything was running fine for the first 2 days and then I got a blue screen again

Can you uninstall AVG

• Go to Start -> Control Panel.
• Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features.
• Select AVG 2012 and click the Change button.
• The following options will be displayed during the installation process:
  • Speed up my PC - Choose this option to get a free PC TuneUp.
  • Update my AVG product - This option runs AVG update.
  • Repair installation - This option repairs or reinstalls damaged or missing AVG components.
  • Add/Remove Features - Choose this option to add or remove AVG components.
  • Uninstall - This option removes the AVG program from your PC.

Then can you install Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

After you have installed MSE & rebooted can you follow this guide:

msconfig - boot faster and crash less.

1. Click on the Windows 7 start icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.

2. Type msconfig in the search box and then either press enter on your keyboard or double-click on the msconfig program that appears in the search results.

3. Windows 7 will launch Microsoft's System Configuration Utility. Click on the Startup tab.

4. This takes you to a page with a list of "startup items." Startup items are programs that are automatically loaded every time you turn on your computer. Some startup programs are absolutely necessary e.g Anti Virus, others are simply a waste of RAM.

5. Click on the OK button.

6. A message will pop up telling you that you must restart your computer before these changes will take effect. Click on "Restart" and your computer will automatically reboot.

7. That's it! Your computer should now boot faster and crash less.

If you ever want to turn on any of the startup items you disabled with msconfig , just run msconfig again.
