Bsod - irql_not_less_or_equal

Ok, I did this...but my BSOD problems were not occurring during Startup. I didn't uncheck any of the items because there are only a few.

Usually, I get the BSOD after launching a game and it has been on a few minutes.


I'll let you know if I get another BSOD.

Ok, got my first BSOD's since the last post. Please see the attached file. It happened as I started running a game about 5 minutes after starting my PC.

Try running chkdsk /f in an elevated command prompt.

I've done this before. I get the prompt about the volume being in use by another process.

I think it's a graphics card driver. Sorry if I've already asked, have you updated to the latest drivers?

I did update them. I'm running the latest version. Also, the BSOD's started before I installed the new graphics card

And you're still getting BSOD's? Then I think you need to back up and do a clean install, and format your hard drive during install.

Ok, is there a tutorial I can use for this? Because I don't have an discs...just the Windows 7 product key.

A clean reinstall completely erases everything on your computer. If you get BSOD's after this, then it IS a hardware problem. Here is a tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html It addresses your no DVD problem.
