Hey all, i'm new to the forum, but it's not good news that brings me here. 2 weeks ago i updated my HD 6850 drivers and since then its been crashing every once in a while, and i keep getting the same message [i think]. I thought rolling back the driver would've solved it but apparently not.

The error report goes as follows

Hello djchiniebwoy & Welcome to SevenForums!

I'm very knew at reading .dmp, just to warn you up.

Your minidump contains this:
Code:
Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!RtlImageNtHeaderEx+3f )

Could you try doing a clean install of your graphic driver?

Best Regards,
FredeGail

Thanks for the reply FredeGail. Assuming you mean uninstalling the drivers, then re-installing them, then I did that already....it still happens though.

Sidenote: maybe i'm being paranoid....but every time it happens i'm either opening, or working in Google Chrome....

OH THE HILARITY!!!! Right as i made that last post...I said to myself "Yaknow.....I'm probably just being paranoid....let me close firefox and use chrome again just to prove it. Opened Chrome....no problem. typed in the URL bar (facebook...lulz) then BLAM. BSOD again.

I'm going to uninstall Chrome....then do another clean install of my graphics drivers...then test it out for a bit...then see if there's a newer version of chrome....and do a clean install of that as well.

You've got a couple of problems:

If I'm not mistaken, your devices configuration will show at least two yellow warnings\;
1. for a PS/2 keyboard (not working properly or not present)
2. USB drivers for a device are not installed.

Please try to to update these or, if not needed, remove.
Also please try Safe Mode w/ Network and give Chrome all you've got...:p

If that gives you problems try: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Good luck!

But that's odd....there's nothing in the PS/2 port....and for the USB devices i have attached, they've all been attached since January or so, why's the problem just surfacing?

I'm still gonna try updating all drivers of my USB peripherals, and i'm gonna mess around with chrome in safe mode as well.

Thank you MvdB!!
