BSoD Locale ID 2057 Perhaps web browser related?

Hello

I've had half a dozen BSoDs with Locale ID 2057 happen in the last week. I wonder if it's something to do with Google Chrome (my default browser for years), as it always happens when I'm using that browser, and hasn't happened (yet) now I'm using Internet Explorer.

As of two days ago I have also got a single short warning beep, repeating every 10 to 15 seconds that starts when booting up.

Yesterday I did a full Windows Disk Check, which found no problems. Today I have done a Windows Memory Diagnostic check, which comes up all OK.

Update:
Qualcomm Atheros WLAN driver (check in Snappy Driver Download)
ELAN touchpad driver (check in Snappy Driver Download)
Intel Rapid Storage Driver (Downloads for Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology (Intel(R) RST))

The WLAN driver and the touchpad driver are both up-to-date according to the Windows device driver app. I cant find the Rapid Storage Driver.

Well, I've reinstalled Google Chrome, which has stopped the BSoDs.

But I still have the PC beep - one short beep between eight and 15 seconds apart. Does anyone know what this might be, and how I can fix it?

... Dammit. Now the Blue Screen is back (after two days). Same problem as before, same crash report.

Help please?

170 views as of this post. I take this to mean that quite a few people might be interested in the answer to this problem other than myself.

Does anybody know what this problem is about, and/or how I can fix it?
