my machine for some time has been locking up when looking at videos on the net. It works ok with Netflix have no idea what the problem is. any help would be great.

Upon looking through your files and system I realize that nobody has really done any updating on it as some things are very old.
So what I would recommend you doing first is go here:
ASUS Helpdesk (<-click) and download these drivers:
BIOS driver, yours was one year old.
Chipset driver.
Audio Realtek driver.
Realtek LAN driver.
USB driver.
