Hi there,

I've recently built a PC and I've been plagued by the very start with a BSOD which points to ntoskrnl.exe. It's peculiar in that it only seems to happen when the system has been loaded up and first displays the desktop. Not necessarily instantly, but within the first two minutes or so. If it hasn't happened by then, it won't happen at all as long as the computer stays on. As it's a new PC, I suspect it could be hardware, but I have ran MemTest86+ for over six passes and received no problems.

I'm also receiving crashes on a game related to my graphics card, which makes me wonder if it's faulty RAM on the graphics card itself. (As a note, I did have the latest version of my graphics drivers when the BSOD occurred, but reverted to a previous version afterward to see if that was the problem. It wasn't.)

Anyway, here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 CPU, 3.20GHz.
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 Z68 Socket 1155
RAM: Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz
PSU: 600w OCR StealthStream
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Thanks for any help you can provide!

No, I haven't installed one yet. I intended to get this problem sorted out before adding anything else into the mix.
