BSOD on shutdown, usb driver related

Hi,

I recently installed an USB 2.0 PCI card with VIA v6212l chipset to use with an USB Arcade stick for playing games (the stick has faulty drivers and requires via chip to work)

It works just fine, until I try to shut down the pc.

After removing the card, I stopped getting a BSOD.

So I tried uninstalling usb drivers in device manager, with the PCI card removed, like the first response in this thread suggested: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/94018-bsod-shutdown.html

This caused the same BSOD error to appear on shutdown. Does this mean the drivers are faulty? How can I fix it?

The attached minidump contains info of the BSOD with PCI card installed.

I'm on Retail Windows 7 Professional 64bit, pc was newly built at the beginning of May.


Edit: I haven't tried reinstalling Windows yet. I turned off Windows Update like the Person in the other thread did, then uninstalled drivers but they just reinstall themselves. I don't really know what settings I'm supposed to use. How can i prevent the drivers getting installed when formatting and reinstalling Win7?

The driver I unisntalled that caused the BSOD was Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C26 or 1C2D.
I think it was 1C2D, but I'm not sure anymore.

Applecharger.sys caused this one and isnt necessary since USB will charge devices oin its own.
