Hi, i have been having BSOD only during the startup of my Win 7 HP 32 bit. I have analyzed the dmps using Bluescreen View and majority of them point to ntkrnlpa.exe and smtimes ATItool.sys and sometimes Ntfs.sys . I tried running driver verifier but i only get more BSODs without any dmp file. I checked the driver verifier and found two drivers without any providers 'dump_dumpfve.sys and dump_iastor.sys " . I have run Memtest86 for 7 passes and no errors. I am really at loss what to do . I am using MS security essentials.

You may be running MSE but have tons of your old symantec drivers stilling. Use the removal tool to scrape them off.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

Thanks for the reply... but i hv a question... can u please tell me about ntkrnlpa.exe . majority of the dmps point to it as the root cause. and also the driver dump_dumpfve.sys which doesnt have any provider ?? and another thing why does the pc goes in a blue screen frenzy when i run verifier.exe ??"
