BSOD on Windows7 32bit

Hello,

I have a problem with 2 PCs. Both have this BSOD from attachment. Can you please help me to solve this issue.

PC configs:

Dell Optiplex 755
OS: Windows 7 Professional 32bit (Ver. 6.1 build 7600)
Bios Ver: A15
VGA: Ati Radeon HD 5450 ( last driver from AMD website: Ati Catalist Control Center: 2010.0825.2146.37182)

Two issues caused these BSODs:

atikmpag.sys, part of your ATI Display driver is causing a BSOD

Possible causes:bad RAM/PSU, incorrect RAM timings/voltages, bad Graphics card, overheating

1. Uninstall the driver

2. Use driver sweeper to remove the display driver leftover files

3. Reinstall your drivers: Graphics Drivers & Software


klif.sys, a component of Kaspersky Security suite is the second cause

Remove kaspersky and install MSE:

Update kaspersky to the latest version( 11.0.1.400): Product Updates

Yowanvista is spot on about Kaspersky. I looked at your five most recent dumps. Kaspersky is directly blames in four of the five. While you are trouble shooting, completely uninstall Kaspersky; do not upgrade or reinstall. Use this uninstall tool: Tool. Kaspersky is know to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. You can try Kaspersky again after you get your system stable; but I do not recommend doing so. Note the usual causes below.

Error code 116, VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE. Usual causes: Video driver, overheating, bad video card, ?BIOS, ?Power to car.

Error code 7F, UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. Memory corruption, Hardware (memory in particular), Installing a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or a failure after installing it, 3rd party firewall, Device drivers, SCSI/network/BIOS updates needed, Improperly seated cards, Incompatible storage devices, Overclocking, Virus scanner, Backup tool, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack.

You have some outdated device drivers loading on your system. Old drivers can and do cause conflicts, memory corruption and crashes. the ones in red font are really obsolete. Update these drivers.

In addition to uninstalling Kaspersky, take care of the above drivers. After doing so, reboot and run your system. Let's see if your system is stable. If you get anohter BSOD, upload it and we will go from there. Let us know how your system is doing.

Thank you for support. The reason I request help is because one of CAM software (OneCNC) was working slowly and because of BSODs.
First Scenario
1. Update Lan driver
2. Update VGA graphic driver
3. Removed Alladin Hardlock device driver from system
4. disabled Kav

Results:
Start Once CNC - is working with no problems, it's not freezing any more.

Second Scenario

1. enable Kav

Results:

Start Once CNC - is working with no problems, it's not freezing any more.

Another test for VGA card with FurMark: Graphics Card Stability and Stress Test for about 10 minutes, temperature increase with 10 degrees but no BSOD.

I will let you know if somethings come up.

You are very welcome and thank you for reporting back. I am glad you are running smoothly. Disabling Kapspersky has no effect on whether or not Kaspersky is causing problems. The drivers still load even when it is disabled. The only way to test it is to completely uninstall it. If your system is running smoothly with Kaspersky, that is good. Keep in mind that four of your dumps blamed Kaspersky directly. It is certainly possible that one or more of you other obsolete drivers was making your system unstable and causing Kaspersky to crash your system.

I suspect that most of the problems came from that HardLock device driver. Well, it's only a guess.

I have some other BSOD, this time from my Dell XPS M1530 with W7 64 bit. Soon I will upload a report with this BSOD. I think this time it's again my VGA card, and possible Kaspersky.

Go ahead and follow my instructions to completely uninstall Kaspersky. You can always try it again when you get your system stable. Troubleshooting involves eliminating all potential BSOD causes and Kaspersky is a potential cause. I will be looking for your latest BSOD information.
