Hi,

I've been receiving a weird BSOD lately and it seems to appear once every 2 days or sometimes weeks. It wouldn't bother me that much, but when it actually happens while I wait for my computer to boot to windows, it bothers me.. It seems so unnecessary for it to boot twice.

I suspect it could be my Intensity Pro Capture card, but I have no idea, if it is or not..

If you guys could take a look into the dump file, perhaps there's a way to resolve this issue once and for all.
You'd make me a happy man.

Thank you.

One thing I forgot to mention, I uninstalled the drivers for BMI, just to see if it happens again, if the culprit happens to be the BMI drivers, how can I resolve that issue? Because, I never experienced my PC crashing with this card in the past.

The BSOD is USB related.

And your USB3 driver is very old.

Try to update it from Station-Drivers - Renesas/Nec.

Let us know the results.

Hi again,

Thank you for the insight, I have done what you have instructed. All it remains now, is to see if the BSOD reappears again. I'm hopeful that it doesn't. I'll keep you updated if it happens again!

Thank you!

The trouble re-appeared again. In addition my sound card stopped working while I was playing games and then it crashed my OS. When I restarted my PC I was getting BSOD again. I have also disabled the USB 3.0 Controller via bios. The BSOD still occurring as well.

Fresh update on the logs:

It appears to be the same issue.

Upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :

  • Download and execute Driverview
  • View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
  • Edit > Select all
  • File > Save Selected Items
  • In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
  • Zip the .txt file and upload it.
It will give us a clear view about all the third party drivers. Though I am suspecting Logitech right now, still want to see it before suggesting anything next.

As expected, Logitech drivers are too old.

Try to update them from Logitech Support - Downloads, Manuals, FAQs & More.

Also, this one may be problematic, too.

ACPI itself is complex. When it is controlled by a third party junk, it must be even more unstable. I would suggest you to not use it.
