My laptop is at least 8 years old and I don't use it for much anymore other than browsing. It's in good shape all things considered, but about once per week I do get the BSOD. This issue dates at least a year or so. It hasn't happened often enough for me to care so much, but just today I figured let me see if I can get this straightened out, and I happened upon this amazing site.

If there's any other info I can provide, let me know, but I haven't paid soo much attention to this to date but can moving forward in case it's not resolved!

I appreciate any help!!!

Please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip, your current zip file contains only dump files while a lot others are missing + the dumps are 3-4 months old.

Go in Windows Explorer to %systemroot%\minidump and delete all files from 2015.
After you've cleaned up the minidump folder, only the dumps from 2016 should be present, please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip file to see if that helps with the other missing files.

I tried this, but I'm still experiencing the same problem sporadically, as I was previously. I take it nothing jumped out and my only option would be a factory reset?

Anyway, just wanted to come on here and report back, and express my gratitude for your efforts Axe0. Thanks!!

Updating Windows just makes sure we are garanteed on the right way, without updating Windows troubleshooting sometimes may lead to something looking like the solution while it in reality isn't even close to a solution.

When you get another BSOD, upload a new zip created by the DM Log Collector, this is for everytime you want to post that you've had another BSOD crash so the crash can be analyzed and suggestions can be given faster.
