Hi, I have common problems with BSOD. It occurs few times a day. I tried to reinstall windows but that didn't help. The most common message is "page fault in non paged area" and sometimes "the driver is mismanaging PTEs.

I have windows 7 ultimate x64,
AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor,
NVIDIA nForce serial ata,
MSI gf615m - p33,
ATI Radeon hd 5400 series.

I bought this computer 7 months ago and it worked fine till a few days ago.
Can anyone help me?

Files are attached.

Thanks.

Hi -

6 of the 7 BSODs bugcheck = 0x50 = invalid memory referenced

1 did have bugcheck = 0xda = SYSTEM_PTE_MISUSE

Remove Daemon Tools/ Alcohol 120 - http://sysnative.com/0x1/DriverReference.html#sptd.sys

Remove COMODO - http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146

Reboot upon completion. Install MSE - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials

Update drivers -

No BSOD anymore but google chrome crashes with message : aw,snap and it says that there's no shockwave player. I tried to install it but it happens again.
Skype crashes too.
What's the problem?

Edit : Chrome.exe message - The instruction at 0x6976914b referenced memory at 0x6976914b. The memory could not be written.

Hi -

Glad to hear BSODs have ceased.

Uninstall Chrome (export your settings 1st); use Revo Free - select 4th option on the 2nd screen (3rd one set as default) - Download Revo Uninstaller

-Uninstall Skype using Revo
- Reboot the system
- Install Chrome - Google Chrome Download
- Test Chrome
- If same Shockwave error - install Adobe Shockwave - Adobe - Adobe Shockwave Player

If all OK, install Skype - Skype for Windows

If no-go on Chrome -
- see if IE crashes
- see if Firefox crashes

Hi -

Did they crash before the BSODs ended?

Please gather some detailed crash info -

1. WERCON -
START | type view | "View all Problem Reports" | 2x-click on line item for additional crash info

2. Reliability Monitor -
START | type perfmon /rel

3. Event Viewer -
START | type eventvwr.msc | Custom Views | Administrative Events

They started to crash before BSOD started.

I think the problem was in flash player and shockwave player.
I disaled them in google chrome, install shockwave to computer and it's working now.

Problem solved :)

Thank you very much for helping me.

Sorry to be almost a year late to this party... Got this same screen, last night. Thought I'd have to replace something. Turned out, all that was needed was for me to reseat something. Not knowing what to reseat, I reseated all I could - memory, power, and data cables to devices inside maschine. On first reboot, all was back. So, there are digital and analog problems - and solutions. hehe

Cheersø,

I've had this Blue screen of death on Windows 7 for a couple of months, with crashing about 10 times a day. I've read and tried LOTS of things, but no good. THEN, I read somewhere that a windows update KB2670838 could be the trouble. I found it and deleted it, and [so far] lap top hasn't crashed! In fact, I've even got the Norton 'Safe' icons back for each web site. I hope this works for you!!!! ♥♥♥
