Hello and thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

I am receiving a BSOD PFN_LIST_CORRUPT message once or twice a day.

I have run memtest86 a number of times over my memory and it has not identified any issues.

I have run Malwarebytes, Avast! antivirus, CCleaner, SuperAntispyware and Spybot and have removed anything that they have found.

Would you be able to identify the issue please?

I can see you have different kind of DIMMs, RAM modules, installed in your PC.
Code:
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) [COLOR=DarkOrchid][U][B]4.50 GB[/B][/U][/COLOR]
Remove the odd one(s) and see how it goes.

OK thank you. I have been running the pc without incident for many months.

I did wonder if it was a driver issue, rather than a RAM issue?

The the dump didn't hold much information about a possible suspect (especially when there is only one dump), So its best to eliminate the obvious first.

If it continues in the same manner just post back here and we will help :) .

OK thank you, I will do that.

I saw that there was only one dump file and I think that when I ran one of the programmes ie. CCleaner it deleted the previous dump files.

Two weeks ago I started to get a BSOD - PFN_LIST_CORRUPT up until this time I have had no issues.

I have run memtest86 and no issues have been found.

I have run antivirus, antimalware and anti spyware and the issue still continues once or twice a day.

I believe the issue is a driver issue.

I followed the instructions above.

Can someone take a look for me please?

Thank you for your assistance.

I have downloaded ATI Catalyst Control Centre and will have a look at that.
I have checked and I have the latest graphics card driver.
Graphics Chipset ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series
Driver Packaging Version 8.593.100-100210a-095951E-ATI

I have ran the Intel tool and have downloaded new drivers.

I hope this resolves the issue.

Sadly, I have had another BSOD earlier today.

Would someone very kindly take a look at the dump for me please? Thank you.

Hi

I uninstalled one of the windows updates and reinstalled it and it seems to be working fine.

I also removed the heat sink on my cpu and replaced the thermal paste, which was very thick and my cpu is running around 60 degrees as opposed to 98 degrees.

Would that have contributed to the BSOD I have been receiving?

98°C !
Your CPU wasn't happy with that I'm positive, yes that may very well have been one of the factors
that led to the crashes.
Keep this thread open for a couple of days in case it will act up again, if not mark it as solved.

For future reference, all you need is a tiny 3-5mm in diameter of thermal paste no more.
