You don't have a Windows Disc? Do you have a restore partition? Most laptops has that partition instead of a Recovery Disc. Go to Start, search 'Create and format hard disk partitions'.

I believe we've tried Ubuntu earlier yes? Did it crash during that period?

Best Regards,
Frederik.

yes my computer has a partition on the harddrive that contains windows in it original form its called a out-of-box (OOB) factory reset and i had preformed one before starting this thread but it did not seem to help,

also yeh we did run ubuntu which did seem to work much smoother but since i am unfamiliar with wine it was next to impossible to open anything that would usually give me a bsod as it was mostly games that did it at that time but now since full screen youtube videos do it or mult at one time i suppose i could test it again also i found a way of using like a magic wine wand type app that should allow me to run ddo and give it a shot

EDIT:
also a funny thing i noticed i thought worth mentioning was that when i did the OOB i did still have some shortcuts on my desktop that shouldn't of been there such as shortcut to the eve online launcher even though i didn't have the files to back the shortcut up they have been done away with

Alright, great. After the first time you installed and resettled Windows 7, what did you install just afterwards? Just on top of your head.
And it's that built you're running right now, yes?

Everything is pretty much a gamble right now, but just keep uploading the dumps and we'll see what's going to happen.

Best Regards,
Frederik.

the only thing i installed after the reset was google chrome and ddo (dungeons & dragons online) i have not uploaded a dump since the initial one should i upload a more recent one to see if any new info comes to light? also if i can run ddo in ubuntu using this magic wine wand tool does that mean that my gpu is fine and that windows is the error if thats the case i will gladly run ubuntu from now on even though some flash and java sites are hard to navigate i just miss ddo that much!!

BTW i edited my last post right as u were responding dont know if you noticed heading out to slay some bass at the local pond but as i said i can see your responces on my android so let me know what you think

That shouldn't be too much harm for now. Yes, please upload the newest dumps. It's a small perspective of shooting diagnostics here and there, when we really don't know what kind of bugcheck we're working in. Each bugcheck has its own sort of troubleshooting priority, and their own type of culprit.
Ubuntu was basically just a formal method of troubleshooting the difference between the balance of Windows and Linux. A clean Operating System would be much handier and that's why we chose Ubuntu. If it didn't crash in Ubuntu, I'd not call this hardware related, for now. Every system is of course different.

If Ubuntu works, Windows should work properly too. For now, upload the dump. I don't know about the last thing you posted, can you clear it up a little? :)

Best Regards,
Frederik.
