BSOD playing games/streaming netflix multiple error codes

I'll try a different keyboard I guess. These two sticks are brand new, as I went through this to find the bad stick (running just one stick in one slot). I'll probably reinstall the OS and switch keyboards, then see what happens.

As a side thought: What voltage does your RAM run at?

So no luck with that. Reinstalled OS, swapped keyboards, crashes continued. I proceeded to remove one of the ram sticks, and now the computer is running just fine.

I know it's not unheard of... but it is it really likely that the RMA ram I got would be defective too? Or perhaps there's something wrong with my board that just causes corruption when running two sticks?

The ram's voltage is 1.35V

Go into the BIOS, enable XMP profile. Be sure that the ram Voltage is no less than 1.5v.

Checked, it was set below the 1.5 threshold. So I adjusted that. I'll probably add the second stick back in later on.

Just as a side note. I've got the two sticks running in B1 and B2 slots. This is because the Silver Arrow cooler I have is rather restricting in it's height allowance for RAM.

Would that be an issue? (The B1/B2 sockets instead of As)

DEFINITELY! Per your owners manual, dual channel configurations should be populated in either A1 + B1, or A2 + B2. So, slot 1 + 3, or slot 2 + 4. If you can't use 2 + 4, you need to either change your cooler, or get lower profile memory. Fix this, and let us know how things progress.

I won't be able to get a lower profile memory, plus I'm not sure that one exists.

But, you know what I was wrong, I did have them in an A1, B1 configuration. Not B1, B2.

Good, that would definitely cause issues.
