Hello,

The device managers details on the video card showed the driver as being the 306.23, also I have tested the graphics card in both PCI-E slots. If it is ok I am gonna go ahead and switch out the video card(Geforce 630 gt) for another one I have (Geforce 9500 gt) and see what I get. I will check in again soon, thanks

Just wanted to give an update; so far no problems since switching out the card . Also a side note of interest, I did what this thread suggested http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html and found a corrupted file that couldn't be repaired: C:\Windows\Speech\Engines\SR\en-US\t1033.ngr and I went through the steps of replacing it. Could this file have had anything to do with the problems I have been having? Will check in again soon, Thanks.

Just checking in, I had no problems when I switched out the new video card, but when I switched back to the gt 630 I received a bsod in an hour. Hopefully to rectifiy the problem I updated the driver the beta version that you suggested earlier and haven't had a problem since. I will check in again soon, and if I have no new problems I will check as solved, thank you so much for your time and help.

Sorry, been away a few days, sounds promising, if the 306.23 and beta drivers fail then
it will be you GPU that is failing, as we now know the PCIe slots are good.

Well it took a while but I had a new bsod happen while trying to watch a dvd. If possible please take a look at the new info, and if its the nvidia drivers again then I am going to get a new video card. Thank you.

Looks like your Nvidia Updater has updated the driver to a newer version:

I would suggest disabling the update prog and :ar: roll back the driver to previous version.
Disable the nividia update program:

1. Press Win key+R
2. Type in msconfig and the system configuration window opens.
3. Select the start up Tab and deselect Nividia updater (Nvtmru.exe I think)
4. Click the services tab and check the "Hide all Microsoft Services"
5. Deselect the Nividia Display Driver Services. Click Apply then click ok.

Observe the situation.

What was the outcome of Memtest?

Hello,

I have the Beta Driver that you sugested installed for the graphics card, and it isn't possible for me to roll back the driver because I did a clean install. But I have made sure the updater is disabled.

So far with the memtest procedures as directed from the tutorial had netted some results. I have had the exact same kind of errors pop up on 3 out of 4 of the ram sticks in 3 different slots. There is only 2 errors, are exactly the same, and they always are spotted in test #6. Still testing will check in again soon, thanks.

All the Ram sticks came back with the same errors, looks like I need to get some other ram or get another computer to continue testing, at least we're making some headway lol

Strange that all four failed!

Yeah it was weird that all four failed making me wonder if the motherboard(which is the one I just got from pc direct) is bad. Unfortunately, my computer uses DDR3 Ram and the only available ram I have available is DDR2, but I hope to get some soon so we can finish figuring out these problems, will check in again soon, thanks.

Yeah, sounds like it could be either the slots on the motherboard and/or RAM issues.
Are you able to RMA the Motherboard, might be best before you go spending money on RAM?

I am gonna go to PC Direct first to see what they can do for me since they replaced my MOBO telling me that it was the source of my bsods in the first place, then if need to I will RMA my motherboard. Thanks for the suggestion, will check in again soon.

I am back, and apparently the voltage settings on the ram sticks was wrong and has been seen to a proper voltage. So now I am back to using the computer normally to see if anything pops up, and I will check in again soon, thanks.

No that's fine, Fs_rec is Windows File System Recognizer Driver,
most likely for recognising USB devices, mines exactly the same

Looks like Nividia drivers are causing issues, like before:

Also there are some ataport errors present:

ataport.sys is very prone to malware called a rootkit.
I would scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs
just to be on the safe side.

Hello,

I have installed the video graphics driver and turned off the auto updates. As to the ataport.sys issue I used the Anti-rootkit utility TDSSkiller and came up with these results. But when I chose delete and rebooted, Windows said it couldn't start properly and I ended up using system restore. Afterwords I went the Windows Defender Offline route and after using that I scanned again with Rootkit utility and found no threats.
