OS: Windows 7 Pro x64
Intel: Intel graphics HD 3000
AMD: AMD Radeon HD 7500M/7600M series

I have been playing games using my intel graphics hd 3000 without any problems. But I decided to use my amd graphics card since my games are lagging now and each time i get bsod atikmdag.sys and after that when booting i get the same bsod unless i untick switchable graphics in BIOS settings.

Also i used sfc.exe /scannow in cmd using administrator rights. But it could not fix some corrupt files.
Then i used sfcfix but not all corrupt files have been fixed.

I also have uninstalled my amd graphics driver and used the DM log collector afterwards.

Please I really need help...

AMD must be having some issues with their drivers. I see a lot of people having these Bsod's pointing to that file.
I am having them myself after just purchasing an Rx 480 4g card 3 days ago I have had 3 bsod since installing it.. Prior to that I haven't seen a bsod since win 98.. And I always used Nvidia cards..

Have you checked your windows system 32 driver folder to see if that atikmdag.sys is even there? Some people are reporting its not there or expanding correctly during the install process..

you can try this:
Follow every step :
Step 1: Download and install the latest ati graphic driver.AND DONT TURN OFF OR RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AFTER INSTALLATION

Step 2: Then go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and rename atikmdag.sys to atikmdag.sys.old.

Step 3: Go to ati directory (usually in C:\ATI) and find the file atikmdag.sy_.

Step 4: Copy the file to your Desktop directory.

Step 5: Open cmd.exe by going to Start -> type cmd in the search box and hit enter.

Step 6: Change the directory to Desktop by typing chdir Desktop.

Step 7: Then, type EXPAND.EXE atikmdag.sy_ atikmdag.sys. Or,

expand -r atikmdag.sy_ atikmdag.sys

Step 8: When the expansion is complete, copy the new atikmdag.sys from your Desktop to

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers

Step 9: Restart your computer and the problem should be resolved.

I just tried it but I won't know till tomorrow if it works..

Yes please. I should inform you that i tried a lot of things since my first post and i got differenT bsods namely pfn list corrupt , memory management, system service exception.

I downloaded and installed graphics and chipset drivers from hp.com using my model number and my graphics turned into amd radeon hd 7650M instead of amd radeon hd 7500M/7600M I used chkdsk, downloaded and used tweaking.com windows repair. I downloaded and used malwarebytes. I downloaded and used ccleaner. I used Windows Memory Diagnostic in the control panel and there were no errors it said.

Now i uninstalled my amd driver again using ddu. After booting, i checked device manager. Intel HD graphics card is telling me: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

My amd graphics driver turned into Standard VGA Graphics adapter since i uninstalled the driver.

Any solution is fine with me except buying a new laptop or a new graphic card since i'm broke.

Please go in Windows Explorer to %systemroot%\minidump and delete all files that are not from 2016.
Then please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip, the current uploaded one misses several logs.
You could check if there are
  1. 18 .txt,
  2. 1 .nfo,
  3. 1 or more .dmp,
files present, if this is the case then all logs are present :)
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required :)

I only found 9 files in the minidump. I think the rest got deleted when i used one of these programs mentioned in the previous post. The earliest one is from 4/11/16.

Unfortunately there are still many files missing, if after another attempt there are still at least 5 files missing then I'll post another method to get the files.

I would recommend to clean install Windows, it's not recommended to continue while there may be drivers from driver easy present.
