BSOD Please help

I just bought this machine and did a fresh install of windows, now I went to play a game and just randomly restarted on me, tried again did the same thing, thought I'd test out 3Dmark to see if I could replicate the issue and I get it again , with Vantage and 2011 3d mark versions.
I turned off automatic restart but for some reason it wont show me the blue screen, it just kind of halts on a black screen when I did that instead so all I have got to go by is what I get when I come back to windows with the "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" with its error which I'll paste here below, any help would be GREAT as I have no idea, I did a quick google search and someone (in yahoo answers) said it was registry related, tried 2 cleaners / fixes didn't do anything, same problem still.
Oh PS I tried installing the latest drivers and flashing the latest bios also, still doing it

I download BlueScreen View, got the Bug Code 0x00000116 (so the same as the 116 above) and the additional information.
Caused by driver : dxgkrnl.sys
Caused by address : dxgkrnl.sys+5d000

Thought it might have been an issue with the drivers so tried the previous version, same thing, then I just tried removing them all (even with driver sweeper, etc, after the uninstall) and installed the straight windows update driver and STILL does the same thing

Age of Hardware is bit over 12 months old, JUST reinstalled the OS.

"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception".

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds.

If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.

Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps

Thanks mate it was an overheating issue I think, I'll update if its not but I did the burn test and the video card reached 105 degree's with the fan speed full then system rebooted, gave it a clean (as I bought it off someone else) and the dust omg, now it doesn't reach over 65 degree's at max fan speed
