BSOD Problems persisting after clean install

Hi there,

I had an issue of my computer locking up (screen went black, stopped connecting to computer then computer restarting).

Following this I had problems starting it up. Immediately after the Starting Windows came up and did it's little animation, the computer would immediately BSOD and restart. I decided to do a fresh install of windows, but after the fresh install the computer is once again locking up and restarting after the screen goes black.

Possibly a hardware failure? I'm obviously not sure at all. Thanks for the help.

Just realized it crashed twice while playing League of Legends and now I can cause BSOD by turning on twitch streams. When the first commercial plays, after a few seconds, my computer screen goes black and after a minute or so the computer restarts.

Your Nvidia driver has been updated to the latest which is problematic/buggy.
Please install version 314.22, which is stable: :ar: Drivers | GeForce

Then disable the Nvidia updater:

1. Press "Win key + R" combination to open the Run search box.
2. Type msconfig and click OK.
3. The System Configuration window will open
4. Select Start up Tab and uncheck any Nvidia update programs present, click Apply.
5. Select the Services Tab, and check the "Hide all Microsoft Services"
6. Uncheck any Nvidia Corporation boxes, click Apply then OK, reboot.

As for PowerPC Processor, you will need to goto Device Manager, select the View Tab and
"Show Hidden Devices" and check for any problem devices, as I cannot find any reference.

Also please update to Win 7 Service Pack 1, as it will help with your system stability.

Thanks for the help, I reverted my driver and for the time it appears to be working, although the screen does briefly go black and I get the message that the driver stopped working but recovered.

I may try a more updated release, but not the most updated one as it was likely causing the issues.

I'm curious how the driver, after working for so long since it was released on July 1, suddenly started having issues now?

I am using windows update and then will test whether this has fully fixed the problem.

Unfortunately, testing League of Legends has resulted in the same situation now. My screen goes black, stops connecting. The computer didn't reboot, so I had to do it myself but apparently the driver 314.22 doesn't fix the problem.

I tried to do the furmark stress test and as soon as I clicked it, the driver stopped working but recovered. I'm really confused on if this is driver or hardware.

Happened again, after trying to reinstall drivers just to check if it would help. Got another of the same situation (black screen, computer locks up, restarts). Here's the dump file.

I tested the furmark stress test with Speccy open, it worked and didn't have any issues and didn't overheat (can post screenshot if required)

Also try the graphics card in a different PCIe slot if possible?
