Hi guys,

My company buys mainly Dell machines and we have noticed that only a specific series (Vostro V131) of their machines experience the random BSODs, all with the same bugcheck (as above). I can count about 9 machines all experiencing BSODs with the same bugcheck 0x7F. We escalated this issue to Dell with them even taking one of our faulting sets to analyse back at their own premises. Unfortunately, as the BSODs happen really randomly, they weren't able to replicate the BSOD.

They have returned the set to us with no apparent solution to our BSODs except come to a conclusion that it is a conflict of our software (Checkpoint VPN vs Mcafee Enterprise). I would really like to believe the Dell support but if what they are saying is true, why didn't the rest of our machines experience the same issue? :sarc:

I'd really appreciate if any assistance to could be rendered thanks!

P.S. I've noticed that there is no minidump file but I do have the memory.dmp but since it is 200+mb in size, I reckon I'd have to upload it to a file sharing site?

Configure the machine for minidumps by following this:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html

Now run Driver Verifier as follows:

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Driver Verifier will cause your computer to run very sluggishly - this is normal. What it is trying to do is force your system to BSOD and isolate the offending driver/s. When it does, reboot, disable driver verifier, reboot as normal and upload the new DM Log Collector ZIP file here.

I recommend creating a system restore point before turning on driver verifier:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/697-system-restore-point-create.html

If your system fails to boot to desktop once driver verifier is enabled, turn it off by booting into Safe Mode:

Hi,

Uploaded with minidump file.

Update: Strangely, now my machine isn't able to connect to the net (Safe mode or no). Tried reinstalling the LAN and Wifi drivers but issue persists. The SENS service doesn't start (automatically or manually) as well.

Hi Golden,

Thanks for the assistance. I've uploaded the dump (+ some new ones) to the Microsoft Community and one of the guys said it was my graphics driver. Can I upload the new dumps here for you to confirm?

Thanks and regards,
Ernest
